Regarding to the video by the title (A Vision of K-12 Students Today), we know most of students need to create something new, not just accepting information without practicing. In many districts and states, technology has allowed students to experience a world-class education and participate in advanced placement courses. Through the use of online learning like social media and virtual learning academies, technology can be a powerful catalyst for pedagogical change to enhanced education, as students use technology to take a more active role in personalizing their own education, and teachers take on new roles as facilitators of knowledge rather than knowledge transmitters. On the other hand, Teachers can collaborate to share their ideas and resources online, sothey can communicate with others across the world instantly.
“What might be the negative impact of technology on learning?” Along with the positive effects modern technology, there also come the negative effects of technology in our education. Some of them are:
1. Technology makes students do not pay attention to their teacher.
2. Lack of Social Skills. Most students focus on their computers and electronic gadgets, such kind of students lack social skills while interacting with others.
3. Students may do plagiarism in doing many assignments.
4. Students often forget their study time and just enjoyed their gadget.
