Why do we need Netiquette?

Netiquette means the rules of etiquette that apply when communicating over computer networks, especially the Internet. [source: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/netiquette] Do we nee Netiquette? why? according to my own opinion; Yes, we do need netiquette.

Talking about communication in social media, of course we need netiquette in order to understand what does someone means. In this case, netiquette inflict missunderstanding. In the other cases, netiquette build someone's awareness automatically in respecting people's privacy.
